300 Entertainment is an indepenedant American record label located in NYC. YSL Records is an imprint under the label made by charting artist and musical pioneer Young Thug. Akeem Allen and I made a visit in late August almost a week after the release of Slime Language from Young Thug. The album peaked at no. 8 on US Billboards in 2018 and features the likes of frequent collaborators Lil Baby, Lil Uzi and Gunna. This visit was made possible by Kojo Osei, who works there and is featured in the gallery below.
After the release of Slime Language, Thugger sent two snakes over to the label [ a reference to some of his aesthetic and motif used in visual branding ]: Drip God and Wave God.
